Ward Air Inc. is based in beautiful Juneau, Alaska. We offer unmatched excellence in amphibious (floats with wheels), ski, wheel and straight float plane air charters. We pride ourselves on flying to all parts of southeast Alaska and western Canada. Ward Air is the only flying company in Juneau that has a Canadian operating certificate allowing us to regularly makes flights in and out of Canada.
Throughout the years Ward Air has grown into one of the largest and most successful charter fleets in Southeast Alaska.

At Ward Air, we operate a variety of aircraft to better accommodate our clients. Our fleet consists of Turbine Super Otters, a Turbine Super Beaver, an assortment of DeHavilland Beavers and multiple types of Cessna aircraft. All of our aircraft are equipped with state of the art navigational equipment.

Flightseeing
View southeast Alaska’s numerous glaciers from the air in your very own Alaskan bush plane for a true Alaskan experience.
Experience the Juneau Ice field and the spectacular views it has to offer the way “you” want to in a flightseeing tour designed just for your group. Whether it’s up over the Mendenhall glacier to view the Juneau ice field, or up the Taku river and around “Devils Paw” peak, the pilot will work with you and your party to create a custom tour that is just right for you.
If you are feeling adventurous, landings on the ice field are done throughout the winter months when our planes are outfitted with skis and are available.
Flightseeing tours typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour. Ward Air’s diverse fleet allows us to accommodate parties of all sizes and make every flight a truly unique experience. Make sure to bring your camera to capture the magical memories this trip is sure to provide.
